Designing an Engagement Ring

My customer’s son heard about me, surprisingly, not from his dad!  Delighted to hear that he wanted to propose to his girlfriend, we designed a ring just for her. I had to keep it a secret and that is why other friends recommended me and not his dad. His family didn’t know!!

After telling me a little about his girlfriend (what she does for a living, what her family heritage is, how active she is in sports, her likes and dislikes in fashion) I came up with a design and created it in wax and then in white gold.  I decided something simple and elegant but showcasing her culture in the ring.  Here is a Celtic Engagement Ring I designed.
