Italian Puzzle Ring

Many years ago, a friend and television colleague met a lovely woman with whom he became immediately smitten with. He was afraid she would not have any interest in him with his male pattern baldness and his average bank account (these were his words.)

He became her tour guide of anything she was interested in. They went to the museums, the botanical gardens, the parks, the restaurants with great food and the theatre.

One day, after years of going to see all that NYC has to offer, he confesses his love expecting a laugh in return. To his surprise, she was in love with him too.

He came to me and asked if I could make him a set of wedding bands like the antique ones her parents wore.  Of course, I said yes. Here is a silver version:
